Tori James, 8, a local member of the DORVA Club, had a great weekend out at the track from August 4-6 for the Southern Alberta Races. She said her favourite part of the sport is beating the boys she races against.
As trailers began to be packed up, and families and racers headed home the DORVA Motocross Track became quiet.
Lacrosse teams in Drumheller will soon be hanging up their sticks. The regular season came to a close last weekend and they will be heading to playoffs today. However, plans are in the works to make the sport a year round affair.
