Patrick passed away suddenly on March 28, 2011.  Patrick was born in Drumheller on February 13, 1957 to parents Matthew and Madeline.  Pat attended school in Drumheller and thereafter owned a successful part time painting business as well as farming his parents’ homestead near Munson, AB.  Over the past 30 plus years, he thoroughly enjoyed his life as a truck driver with several local businesses; the most recent being “Flint”.  This was one of his very proud achievements enjoying every mile.  Pat had many interests; he loved fishing, snowmobiling, motorcycles, auto collecting, enjoying time with friends and co-workers, as well as being a huge supporter of the “Rowley Community Association” known as one of the best pizza makers around. Pat is survived by his three sisters; Maureen (Les) Boon of Abbotsford, BC, Barbara (Dwain) Sheldrake of Calgary, AB and Wilma (Randy) Ivan of Cobble Hill, BC.  He is also survived by a niece and nephews.  Pat was predeceased by his parents Matthew in 1978 and Madeline 1996.  Pat was a very caring and compassionate person who will be greatly missed by all. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at Courtney-Winters Funeral Home, 199-2nd St. West, Drumheller, AB with Father Mario Basque officiating.  If so desired, donations may be made in memory of Pat to the Rowley Community Association, Box 14, Rowley, AB, T0J 2X0 or the Heart to Heart Society of Drumheller, Box 162, Drumheller, AB, T0J 0Y0.
