Rose McBride, born May 29, 1930, passed away peacefully in Drumheller Hospital with her family by her side on April 2, 2011 at the age of 80. She loved her gardening, flowers, card games, music and placed much pride in her home. She was predeceased by her parents Fred and Mary Meissner and two brothers. She leaves behind three siblings Eileen (Orton Maxwell) of Rimbey, AB, Doris Short of Weyburn, Sask, Dian Rankin of Calgary, AB; three children, Douglas (Eliane Maetche) of Calgary, AB, Audrey (Lennart Soderberg) of Young Sask, Bruce (Karen McBride) of Edmonton, AB, and heartfelt adopted children, Jenn, Nola, Riley, Shaun of Drumheller, AB; four grandchildren, five great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed and forever in our hearts. A memorial will be held at a later date. Expressions of sympathy may be left for the family at www.courtneywintersfuneralhome.ca.
