William (Willie, Bill) RAESSLER. August 19, 1929 - January 21, 2011 at the age of 81 years. It is with the deepest of sadness we announce the passing of William in a tragic vehicle accident. William will be greatly missed, forever remembered and always loved by his beloved wife Dellas and their children Calvin (Terri, Austin, Chase), Dwayne (Sharolynne, Courtney, Taylor), Audrey Wilson (Shawn, Ashley), Kendall (Melissa, Kyla, Amanda, Brooke) and Jonathan. His sister Ella Fynn (Patrick), sister-in-laws Ella Kisser (John), Agnes Sorensen, Clara Sorensen, Marjorie Sorensen and Patsy Sorensen, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Adolph and Louise, his brother Edwin, brother-in-laws Andrew Sorensen, George Ridgedale, Ernest Sorensen, Hardy Galster, William Sorensen and Allan Sorensen, sister-in-laws Annie Ridgedale and Eva Galster. William was a true gentleman, a man of integrity, a very hard worker and an extremely loyal and loving family man. He dedicated his life to farming, playing music, writing poetry and songs, dancing with his beautiful wife, camping with his family and friends and spending the winter months in Arizona. William loved new ideas, new concepts, new people and new adventures such as getting his motorcycle license at the age of 81. William’s passion for life was evident in everything he did. A memorial celebration of William’s life will be held at the Delia Community Hall on Friday, February 4, 2011 at 2 o’clock in the afternoon.
