DANYLUK, Mary
Mary Danyluk (nee Bodnaruk), a long-time resident of Rosedale and Drumheller passed away at the Royal Jubilee Hospital in Victoria on January 16 as a consequence of an in-home accident. In 1975, Mary retired with her husband Mike (who predeceased her in 1991) to Victoria, where she led a very active life, continuing to golf, socialize and play bridge, much as she did in Drumheller. She remained mentally acute and fiercely independent until the time of her death. She is survived by her son, Michael (Vancouver), brother Willie Bodnaruk (Calgary) and sister, Jeannie Sobat (Edmonton) and a number of nieces and nephews. A private cremation followed by an interment was held in Victoria on January 26. If you wish to remember Mary, please make a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
