Mosquitoes are out in full force this spring. The cool, wet spring combined with windy conditions has slowed the Town of Drumheller mosquito program, but Mayor Terry Yemen says relief should be on the way.
Drumheller residents have come out in force to support the thousands who have been uprooted by the wildfires near Slave Lake.
Due to windy conditions and high wildfire risks, fire bans are now in place across the province on all land in Alberta. The fire bans are effective immediately, and until further notice.
