It appears the Valley and area’s loss of Internet since shortly after noon today has finally been restored.
The cause of the outage appears to be vehicular damage in Strathmore that has impacted spans feeding out to Drumheller.
A temporary span has been deployed.
The Mail will provide further updates when if there are any changes to the timeframe or situation.
The outage affected Xplornet, Bell, Rogers, Shaw, Axia, netago, Reality Bytes, Aerial Internet Service and all should be restored.
