Who are You? Jacob Bonin

Age: 19.
Occupation: Centre, Drumheller Dragons.  
What do you like most about playing for the Dragons? How the whole town comes out and supports the team and you build a bond with the other players.
What’s your dream job? The NHL for Tampa Bay. It’d definitely be nice in Florida.
How long have you been in Drumheller? Three weeks.
What do you like most about Drumheller? It’s feels like home, because I’m from a small town.
Where are you from? Sudbury, Ontario.
What is your perfect ‘stache? Curled at the ends.
Any travel destinations on your bucket list? Australia would be cool.
What’s the coolest place you’ve been to? Jamaica.
If you could travel through time, when and where would you go? Back to nationals to beat Rory Davidson.
Who would you hang out with for a day? Steve Stamkos.
Any hobbies? Golfing, fishing, and hunting.
What is one thing you could eat for the rest of your life? A good steak, Chicago style.
Favourite movies/TV shows: Friday Night Lights, Suits, and Sons of Anarchy.
What would be your entrance music? “New Morning Sun” by Blue Rodeo.
What is your dream vehicle? A monster truck or one of the robots from Pacific Rim.
What superpower would you want? Kind of like Green Lantern where I could make anything I could think of.
Any words of wisdom? Don’t give up on your dream.


Who are You? Jillian Steele

Age: 29.
Occupation: Distance Learning Educator, Royal Tyrrell Museum.  
What do you like most about you’re job? It’s fun to combine technology and teaching to educate children.
How long have you been in Drumheller? Since May.
Where are you from originally? Toronto, but I moved around quite a bit for my education.
What did you go to school for? I got my Masters  in parasitology. I studied gastrointestinal parasites in west Greenland caribou.
What do you like most about Drumheller? Everyone is super nice and welcoming.
Any destinations on your bucket list? Australia and Turkey.
What’s the coolest place you’ve been to? I lived  in Hokkaido, Japan, for a year and spent a month in Greenland.
What three things would you take to a deserted island? My laptop, Playstation 3, and unlimited high speed internet.
Who would you want to hang out with? Hercule Poirot.
Any hobbies? I just started knitting, video games, reading, and cooking.
Do you collect anything? Tea pots.
What is one thing you could eat for the rest of your life? Okonomiyaki, which are Japanese pancakes.
Favourite movies: Nightmare Before Christmas and Hocus Pocus.
What would you sing at karaoke? “Bleed it Out” by Linkin Park and “Grillz” by Nelly.
Favourite games: Kingdom Hearts, LEGO games, and Shin Megami Tensei.
What would be your dream vehicle? A Peugeot. I saw a lime green one in Ireland and thought it was a must have.
What superpower would you want? Summoning.

Who are You? Curtis Skip

Age: 19.
Occupation: Goalie, Drumheller Dragons.  
What do you like most about playing for the Dragons? You build a family with the team and you get to do what you love.
Dream job: Playing in the NHL.
How long have you been in Drumheller? I was traded and drove here on August 23, which is my birthday.
Where are you from originally? Grande Prairie.
What do you like most about Drumheller? Everyone knows everyone and we have so much support here.
It’s Movember, so what is your ideal ‘stache? Handlebar.
Any travel destination on your bucket list? My family is from Sweden, so I’d like to go there. If the NHL doesn’t work out, I’d love to play there.
Who would you like to hang out with for a day? Jaroslave Halak.
Any hobbies? Golf and I coach hockey in the  spring and summer.
What is one thing you could eat for the rest of your life? My mom’s spaghetti.
Favourite movies/TV shows: Moneyball or anything with Brad Pitt, How I Met Your Mother and The Walking Dead.
What would you like as your entrance music? “Fix You” by Coldplay or “Dream On” by Aerosmith.
What other sports do you like? Growing up I wanted to be a bull rider.
What is your dream vehicle? The new Batmobile. You wouldn’t have to worry about anything.
What superpower would you want? Batman’s. Be rich.
Any words of wisdom? Don’t let anyone say you can’t do something. Let your actions speak for themselves.
