Who Are You? Jay Russell

Age: 45.
Occupation: Program Director of Awesomeness, Atlas Coal Mine.  
What do you like most about your job? The people, great work environment, coffee, and ghosts.
How long have lived here? I came here for a summer job in 1994 and then stayed.
Where are you from originally? Lethbridge.
What do you like most about living here? The community, how committed people are to making it better, the environment, and history.
Any travel destinations on your bucket list?  Most include visiting other historic coal mines or   any tourist destination with a train.
When and where would you travel to in time?  The Klondike Gold Rush, to 1867 to see Canada become a nation, or Drumheller in 1919.
Who would you like to hang out with for a day? Jesus. It would be interesting to see him in action during his ministry and questioning authority.
Any hobbies? Reading, Canadian history, and I collect and refurbish bikes.
One thing you could eat for the rest of your life: Chinese takeout or pizza.
Favourite movie: Casablanca, or movies with Bing Crosby or Bob Hope.
What would be your theme song? “Western Skies” by Blue Rodeo.
One piece of technology you couldn’t live without? Coffee machine or some other way to make coffee.
What superpower would you want? Invisibility would be cool for the Haunted Mine.
Any words of wisdom? Start living your life the way you want live it now.
