How long have you lived in Drumheller?
Nine years, I’m originally from the East Coast.
Occupation: Owner of Just You and I. We have operated it for six months, and just moved locations last week.
Have you always been interested in business?
I always wanted to be my own boss, and I fell in love with retail managing the Emporium.
What do you like about Drumheller?
I like the feel of a small community and my son loves living here.
What would like to see different?
Better communications between everyone. We want to be part of the community, so we have work as a community. I am supportive of anything to improve downtown Drumheller.
Outside of work, what occupies your time?
Spending time with my kids. We go on nightly walks. But most of my spare time goes into the business.
If you had a superpower, what would it be?
I’m a fixer, so it would be the ability to help others. I would like to make everyone happy, but I know it is not possible. I’ve talked about being able to create a clone of myself.
If you were stuck on a deserted Island, what three tools would you bring?
A machete, flint and a piece of rope.
