A history in organizing walks for Doctors Without Borders and an education in Health Promotion.
What is Health Promotion?
It’s more the preventative side of medicine-promoting general wellness to prevent illness.

Where did you move from?
I was in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Is that where you were born and raised?
Born in Medicine Hat, moved around a bit through Canada and the U.S., ended up in Halifax to do my Masters Degree.
What caught your eye about moving here?
I’ve lived in cities because of university and wanted to experience a small town. And I”m closer to family.
What are you most looking forward to living here?
Experiencing Drumheller, the different landscape, the people, my job.
What do you enjoy in your downtime?
Long distance running (since I was 12); a lot of hiking, travelling, camping.Time daily on social media?
I like to think I spend a healthy amount on it. And I promote the walk on it.
What’s your go-to meal?
Burritos-saute veggies, add any beans, throw it in a wrap.
Do you like steak burritos?
I’m a vegetarian so no, not very much.
