On Friday last week we saw the launch of the tiering round with the Sports Room Midget Raptors against Hanna, ending in a 7-1 loss for Drumheller. They played the following day against Carstairs with a 13-3 loss.
It appears the Drumheller Senior Titans have their game back on the right track, just in time to head into the post season.
The disappointment of two key losses late in the season were diminished as the Titans had their way with Strathmore on Saturday in front of a hometown crowd. The Titans dominated and played with a purpose.
The Drumheller Senior Titans looked the league favourites in the face, and walked away knowing they’re not that far from playing at the same level.
The Titans took the field against Rundle College on Saturday, October 12 in Calgary. Despite a 35-2 drubbing at the hands of Rundle, coach Jason Rasmussen says Rundle weren’t as impressive as they look on paper.
