Exhibition game showcases tenacious Dragons

The Dragons showed they could get to the net against Olds in exhibition play, but it took a little more to beat the Grizzly goalie. Exhibition play continues Friday against the Brooks Bandits.

While the 2009-2010 version of the Drumheller Dragons is still a ways from being released, there were some very encouraging signs for the coaching staff at the team’s first two exhibition games over the weekend.


Titans season opens Saturday

 The Titans will open their season againt Innisfail this Saturday, September 5  at DCHS.  Fans can head down at noon for a pregame beef on a bun and live music, before kick-off at 1 p.m. Coach Jason Rasmussen sees a big upside for the 2009 edition of the Titans. Black versus orange

dragons.jpgThe Drumheller Dragons marked the beginning of another season of junior ‘A’ hockey on Sunday, August 23, with the first annual Miner’s Cup intra-squad hockey game when team orange took on black. The Dragons’ first exhibition game is on Friday, August 28 against the Olds Grizzlies. Season ticket holders can pick up their tickets on Wednesday, August 26 at the Canalta head office.
