Tournament Chairman, Paul Ainscough, presented tournament winner Kelly Colberg, Taylor Colberg, Heather Colberg and Trent Colberg
with the Dinosaur Trophy. The Colberg’s came in with 16 under par to take the top honours.

Over 130 golfers enjoyed the great weather and Chamber hospitality last Friday at their 14th Annual Charity Golf Tournament at the local golf course.

The charity event was won by the Colberg family, with sons, Trent and Taylor, providing the horsepower, and mom and dad, Kelly and Heather, bringing knowledge and experience.
They shot an amazing 56 in the 4-man scramble event.

Zeke Wolf with more moves than Wayne Gretzky on a slow day, brought in over $1000 to the Chamber Golf Tournament charity last Friday at the local course.
Zeke, set up on the par 3 - 16th hole, gave golfers a chance to earn a little money by out driving him, getting him closer to the hole.
Golfers made a wager and told him to use his 8, 6, or 4 iron on his drive, and if he was closer than those making the bet, they lost.
He only had to pay out 6 times all day, and was pleased to have the opportunity to add to the fun.
This year’s designated charities were the local Victim Services office and the Darts office, and a cheque presentation to both groups will take place at a later date.
Former Calgary Flames trainer also auctioned off Brett Hempel and 3 hours of his time to Dave Powell of The Sports Room for $500. Brett will help Dave with store promotion in the downtown area.
