The DCHS senior boys basketball team was untouchable in league play and tonight they play in the league championship.
The Dynos will be going for their third consecutive title, at 6 p.m. on March 3 at home versus The Acme Redmen.
This follows on the heels of another tournament win.
Over the weekend, the DCHS senior boys travelled to Vegreville to capture their 5th tournament championship of the 2009/2010 season.

On Friday night, the team defeated JR. Robson 81 - 50 in the first round led by Mitch Smith’s 20 points and 14 rebounds, and Chad Molzan’s 24 points and 12 rebounds.
In the semifinals the team went up against the number six ranked school in 1A basketball and defeated them 76 to 38 again led by the strong rebounding of Dyno’s big three, Chad Molzan, Jesse Browning, and Mitch Smith.
In the final, the team went up against the number five ranked team in 3A basketball, Brook Composite High School, who the Dynos had defeated earlier in the year at the Brooks Composite Invitational Tournament.
The Dynos came out strong, but went flat in the second quarter as Brooks was able to take a 10-point lead. Dynos were able to regain composure and fight back to be within twopoints by half. The thirdquarter was a back and forth game as the Dynos, however the team was unable to capitalize on key possessions to take the lead.
Going into the fourth down by two, the Dynos came out with intensity and determination led by the clutch shooting of injured guard Kyle Masson who hit three straight three pointers to put the team ahead.
The Dynos were able to push their lead to 20 points, before finally winning 82 - 68 over Brooks Composite High School.
