Clean sweep for novice Raptors home tourney

Ty Dowling of Endmoor won the Black Elks Hockey School certificate for $200 at the Novice T3 Raptors Tournament in Morrin on February 6 and 7. photo submitted

  The Novice T3 Raptors made a clean sweep at the tournament they hosted.
    The Raptors held a six team tournament in Morrin on February 6 and 7. Teams at the tournament included Drumheller, Indus, Rockyford, Endmoor, Calgary and Carstairs
    The Novice Tier 6 players had a really good weekend winning all three games. They beat  Rockyford 7-3, Indus 5-0, and Calgary 12-0.

    The Raptors’ coach is Darren Schrock and assistant coaches are Kelly Boyko and Gerry Kolm.
    The team has also made it to playoffs this year.
    Also crowned at  the tournament was the winner of the Black Elks Hockey School certificate for $200. It went to Ty Dowling of Endmoor.
    Tournament organizers are appreciative of  a number of local businesses that support
