Canadian Badlands Aquatic Club (CBAC) athlete Ava Harrington had a huge success the weekend of October 29 at the Cascade Speed Meet at the Talisman Centre in Calgary. Five CBAC swimmers qualified to attend the meet and Ava was the only qualifier from the Drumheller pool. She needed 12 & under qualifying times, so at only 10 years old, this was a feat in itself. She captured gold in 200-meter Freestyle, gold in 50-meter Freestyle, silver in 200 meter Individual Medley and bronze in 50-meter Backstroke with new personal best times in all four of her events.
