The Bantam Titans opened their season last Saturday, September 17 at home with a 12 to 6 win.
The Titans played their season opener at a home game, and faced a mixed Olds/ Innisfail team on the other end of the field.
According to head coach Paul Redmond the Olds team was made up of players from both Olds and Innisfail.
“With not knowing what they would face and unsure of how many players they would have, they showed up with a decent team,” Redmond said.
Redmond stated that he is already seeing the improvement in the players who have moved up from the peewee league.
“We bent a little bit but didn’t break,” Redmond laughed, “If you can limit your mistakes, you can win and we proved that. Hopefully we can put in a win again next weekend.  Rocky Mountain House has one of the best teams and so we are expecting a tough game.”
Their next game is this Saturday in Rocky Mountain House.
