Dragons acquire forward Jordan Taupert from Drayton Valley Thunder

Drumheller welcomes forward Jordan Taupert to the Dragons Club for the 2016-17 season.

Jordan was acquired to complete  last season’s trade with Drayton Valley.

“I believe we can do great things and progress a long ways this year as well as making positive steps along the top of the league this upcoming season,” Taupert said.

In 60 games last season with the Thunder, Taupert scored 6 goals and had 13 assists totalling 22 points. Jordan, an 18 year old native of Medicine Hat also collected 16 penalty minutes.

Coach Brian Curran, said he’s looking forward to what the new player can bring to the Dragons. 

“His character, coupled with his speed and vision will make him a tough player to play against.”
