The Drumheller Dragons took a 4-3 overtime loss to the Camrose Kodiaks on Tuesday afternoon.

The Dragons’ Marcus Messier scored his first goal as a Dragon, opening the scoring at 3:43 of the second period. The Kodiaks answered back just a few moments later before Rory Davidson scored giving the Dragons a 2-1 lead.

The Kodiaks opened the third period with two goals before Messier scored his second of the night tying the game and forcing an overtime period.

At 2:37 of overtime, the Kodiaks scored winning the game.

The Dragons now travel to Okotoks to face the Oilers Friday night before returning home Saturday to host the Camrose Kodiaks.
