Drumheller football players excel on Airdrie squad

Rhett Duggan, left, split the Airdrie Northern Raiders’ MVP award and was also nominated for the Defensive Player of the Year. Tracker Robinson won defensive linemen of the year.

Four Drumheller football players had a strong season playing football in Airdrie and some were honoured for their hard work and dedication.
    Tracker Robinson, Rhett Duggan, Aden Enns and Eric Seiller played this season for the Airdrie Northern Raiders in the Calgary Midget Football League. 
    The team continued to progress all season and pushed their way to the league championship, but were bested by only four points by the Mavericks.
    The team held itS awards banquet on June 16 and Tracker Robinson came home with the Defensive Lineman of the Year Award, Rhett Duggan split the MVP Award and was also nominated for Defensive Player of the Year. Aden Enns was nominated for the Leadership Award on offence.
