Sharen (Ammie)
Sharen (Ammie) Nadasdi, a long-time resident of Drumheller, AB, passed away March 11, 2011 in Calgary, AB. Born in 1943 in Victoria B.C., Sharen moved to Drumheller with her family in her early teens. Sharen worked as a waitress (Corner Cafe), CNA (Drumheller nursing home), clerk (Cam’s News) and librarian (Drumheller Institution). She also volunteered with the Salvation Army and was the Chairwoman of the Spiritual Assembly of the Baha’is of Drumheller. She is survived by husband Paul Nadasdi, daughter Dawn (Don) Wolsey, granddaughters Corissa and Elizabeth Wolsey, great grandson Ethan Beach, her sisters Faye (Ray) Brown, Tracy Wilson, brother Barry Wilson, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Cecilia Ronellenfitsch and Joseph Wilson, sister Coleen Lee Berndt and nephew Micheal Brown. Sharen was well respected, compassionate, generous and willing to help anyone (whether she knew the person or not). She tried to make the world a better place. We will miss her dearly. Memorial services were held March 17, 2011, in Drumheller, at Courtney- Winters Funeral Chapel, officiated by the Spiritual assembly of the Baha’is of Drumheller.
