GRIEVE, Boyd
August 22, 1935 - September 11, 2010
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Boyd Grieve, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle. Boyd was born 75 years ago in Riverhurst, Saskatchewan on August 22, 1935. Boyd and his wife Helen lived in many places and called Drumheller home for the last 24 years. Boyd will be remembered for his love of his family and many friends and colleagues within the farming community. An active member of the Drumheller community, Boyd served on the Chamber of Commerce and the Valley Bus Society. He enjoyed many activities including walking, hiking,camping, traveling, old time dancing, watching his grandchildren in their activities and visiting with his many friends. Boyd will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 49 years Helen, his children Linda Dickson (Don Brooks), Cindy Casper (Kevin), and Brent Grieve (Cori); six grandchildren, Jeffrey, Eric, Hailey, Erin, Dryden and Brenna, and sisters Merle Bishop (Bill), Carol McGregor (Wayne), Eileen Popoff (Jack) and sister-in-law Doreen Mortimer. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Nacmine Hall, 119 3rd St Nacmine, Alberta, on Saturday, September 18, 2010 from 2-4pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the charity of
your choice.
