It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of my dear mom, Jan Nahornick on Thursday, January 21, 2010 at the age of 77 years. She was born in Coalhurst, AB in 1932. Jan grew up in the Drumheller Valley (Newcastle and East Coulee). Jan is lovingly remembered by her daughter Bonnie; niece Kim (Stan); nephews Wayne (Yvonne), Warren (Trudy), and their children, as well as by numerous cousins. She was predeceased by brother Freddie (1936), her dad John (1981), brother Vic (1998) and her mother Mary Bozowski (2009). Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at a visitation held atFOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL,3220 – 4Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery)on Thursday, January 28, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held atFOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL,on Friday, January 29, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery. If friends so desire, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made directly to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta, 200, 119 – 14 Street NW, Calgary, AB T2N 1Z6.
