Condolences to the family of Olga Tkachuk (née Boruk)

OlgaTkachuk

TKACHUK (née Boruk)
Olga

December 6, 1933 - October 25, 2021

Olga passed away peacefully at home at the age of 87. She was born in Wayne, Alberta and lived her life in the Drumheller Valley.
She is survived and dearly missed by her children, Michael and Roxanne (David), granddaughter Anna (Ryan), step-great-grandson Joel and great-granddaughter Nora; her brothers Ron (Millie), Ernie (Jackie), Eddie (Margaret - deceased), and John (Sharon); and her nieces and their families. She is preceded in death by her high school sweetheart and husband, John Tkachuk, her parents Mary Boruk (née Worobets) and John Boruk. Olga had many near and dear friends who she cared for deeply and welcomed into her life.
Known to her friends and family for her warmth and her unwavering hospitality, we all fondly remember sitting around her table enjoying home-baked treats, and midnight snacks whenever we got together. She was a hardworking, resourceful, resilient, loving woman who anchored her family, opened her door to friends, ran a family business for many years, and ensured everyone was well taken care of. She loved to spend time baking, crocheting the most beautiful blankets (afghans), and tending to the flowers in her garden.
At Olga’s request there will be no funeral or memorial.
