Emma Mason of Drumheller/Delia beloved wife of the late Albert Mason passed away peacefully September 24, 2018 at the age of 83 years. January 19, 1935 Emma was given the gift of life, which she lived to its fullest. Albert and Emma travelled extensively and in later years joined Delia’s snowbirds travelling to Arizona each winter. Emma was an artist at heart, her creative outlet expressed through painting, crafts, cooking, sewing, decorating and numerous others. Emma and Albert were very active in Delia’s social scene; dances and curling bonspiels especially. The two of them could really shine on the dance floor. Family was Emma’s pride and joy. She is survived by sons Barry (wife Dawn, children Laura, Kari and Jared) and Wesley (sons Andrew, Steve) and daughter Lori (daughter Jesica). One of 10 siblings, Emma is survived by Cecile Cunningham and Vera King (husband Jim) as well as many nieces and nephews and their families. The family will be holding a private service for family members and request donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation and STARS Air Ambulance in lieu of flowers. Her last trip in the beautiful red helicopter was a memorable one. May her feet have wings!
