Lorna “Ruth” Howard passed away peacefully with her family at her side at the Rising Sun Long Term Care in Black Diamond, on July 21, 2018 at the age of 98 years. Ruth is survived by her children Winnifred MacLean, Allen Howard, Lyle (Linda) Howard, Noel (Roger) Bru, and Neil Howard, 9 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Vincent. Born in Delia on September 20, 1919, she spent most of her life on the farm in Delia and Hand Hills area. She enjoyed knitting and sewing but most of all, visits from family and friends. A celebration of life was held on July 27, 2018 at the Hand Hills Lake Clubhouse.
