October 25, 1949 - May 27, 2018
It is with great sadness that the family of JoAnn Werschler announce her passing. She leaves to mourn her brothers Jim; Rob (Diane) and their sons Colin and Jasen; aunt Anne-Marie and family, uncle John and aunt Noreen and family; as well as Lorne’s daughter’s Sheri and Tanya and their families. She also leaves behind her feline friend Jingo and many treasured friends. Jo Ann was predeceased by her parents Don and Helen, her husband Keith and her dearly missed partner Lorne, with whom she enjoyed many wonderful years square dancing, camping, participating in activities with their Rotary family and travelling. Jo Ann ended her long RN career back home in the dialysis unit of the Drumheller hospital where her cheery disposition won her new friendships with patients and their families. At her request Jo Ann did not want a service. Her family will gather privately to mourn her loss.
