Long-time Drumheller Valley resident Edith Buckley passed away on December 16, 2016 at the age of ninety-seven. Edith had been a resident of the Continuing Care wing of The Drumheller Hospital for the past 5 years. Edith, who was predeceased by her husband Rupert in 2009, is survived by her children Joan Middlestead (Terry), Clive (Fran Evans), Martin (Kelley), Ian, and Eric (Sharon Gray), her grandchildren Robyn Yon (Levon), Blaire Buckley, and Wade Buckley (Alyson), and her great-grandchildren Adysson and Jaxson. At Edith’s request, there will be a family-only service in April/May, followed by a scatter of her ashes at sea.
