NAFFIN, Alexander
1920-2016
Alex passed away in the Continuing Care section of the Drumheller Health Centre on August 11th, 2016. He was born in Romania in 1920 and in 1927 came with his family to a farm near Delia. My father was a kind and decent man, he was a good son, husband, father, employee, soldier and citizen. My mother, Doreen, passed in 1994, months short of their 50th wedding anniversary, and he thought about and missed her every day. He is survived by his only child, Loretta Naffin; his niece, Eleanor Jensen, and her sons and their families; his nephew, Ken Leonhardt and his wife Vicky; his nephew Donald Naffin and his wife Sandy, and many other nieces and nephews. At father’s request, there will be no funeral service and no grave site, he will be cremated. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Alexander Naffin to the Alberta S.P.C.A. Alex is with his Heavenly Father and his Saviour, Jesus Christ. He is safe there and at peace. God Bless you all for caring. Courtney-Winter’s Funeral Homes are in care of the arrangements.
