Rose passed away peacefully at Olds Care Center October 10, 2015 at the age of 97 years. Rose is lovingly remembered by her daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Gary Swabey, grandsons Kevin (Paula) and Trevor (Jessica); great-grandchildren Megan, Nolan, Emily and Katelyn. She was predeceased by her husband, Lloyd and son, Wayne. Rose will be remembered as a familiar face at the Farmer’s Market as sewing was her passion. She also cherished her many years as a volunteer at the Drumheller Hospital. A special thank you to the caring staff of Hillview Lodge and Olds Care Centre. Your kindness to Mom meant everything to us. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 17th at 2 pm at the Drumheller Alliance Church, 670 – 7 Ave E.
