COLE Leonard Ross

COLE, Leonard Ross
1933-2013

Leonard Ross Cole passed away quietly on the evening of April 30, 2013, surrounded by his family. He is pre-deceased by his brother Doug Cole and his sisters Dorothy (Green) and Gerry (Paterson).  He is survived by his children Colette, Coree (John), Collin (Holly) and Colleen. He also leaves behind  two grandsons,        Christopher and Cody, a great-granddaughter, Jacelynn, his last surviving sister, Dolores Collingridge of Calgary, Alberta, and sister-in-law Dorothy Anne Cole of Penticton, B.C., as well as many loving nieces and nephews. Born in Orkney, Alberta on May 16, 1933, his prairie roots ran deep as an eighth-generation Canadian before moving his family to Victoria, B.C. in the late 1960’s. Ross was an exceptional carpenter throughout his life. He was also well known for his excellent sense of humour, which he seems to have passed on to his kids. He was never a Leafs fan. His ashes will be buried at Sarcee Butte Cemetery in Drumheller, Alberta.
