A person was arrested following an incident of vandalism at the Village of Carbon Office last Monday.
On Monday, July 17, at a Village of Carbon Regular Council Meeting at approximately 6 p.m., a person attending the council meeting vandalized the town office.
It appears outdoor flower pots were overturned and thrown onto cars parked in the parking lot. Hanging plants were torn down, and dirt was strewn about the parking lots.
Drumheller RCMP attended and took an individual into custody. The person was released on an undertaking.
At this point, charges against the person have not been sworn.
The Mail reached out to the Village of Carbon, but there was no response as of press time.
