A small fire structure in Greentree on Thursday, April 22, caused minor damage to a home. The Drumheller Fire Department was called at about 11:30 a.m. They responded with their new ladder truck, rescue unit, and about 10 firefighters. Fire Chief Bruce Wade said the fire was accidental and was confined to its point of origin in a bedroom and an outside wall. The department quickly controlled the fire. The homeowner was safely evacuated, and there were no injuries.
