Community helps students make Connections

A contingent of DVSS students is participating in the Connections program. Connections is a 5-credit extra-curricular course that promotes leadership and diversity. Students will participate in a week-long camp and then complete a service project in the community. Left, Joanne Contenti, right, from Scotiabank visited the school on Tuesday, February 4 to present a cheque for $440 to sponsor Jayden Wipf for her spot in the Connections Program. Pizza Hut also contributed $125 towards the program and, right, the Rotary Club donated $1,600 towards sponsoring the participants.
