The Drumheller RCMP has seized a number of firearms and charges are pending.
On October 19, Drumheller RCMP executed a search warrant in relation to information received from a local resident.
Police recovered seven long barrel rifles and ammunition along with some additional property.
The guns are believed to be involved in a recent related police occurrence in the Drumheller valley. The investigation is ongoing and charges are pending.
