Roof-top dinos

Centuries ago, dinosaurs roamed the Drumheller Valley, and today, they are roosting on the rooftops.
Recently a small raptor appeared up on the roof of Pop’s Block, home of the Centre Street Insurance, and in the near future, another will be towering over Century 21 Power Realty.
Bob Sheddy of the Century 21 says to expect at least three dinosaurs in the core this summer. These dinosaur statues are paid for by the landlord to supplement the Drumheller DinoArts Association.
“We are the Dinosaur Capital of the World and my hope is that the businesses in the downtown core can benefit from a little extra exposure,” said Sheddy.
They support efforts to beautify and theme the core to enrich the overall visitor experience.
