RCMP catch Break and Enter suspects

Two adult males are facing Criminal Code charges after a property owner located them breaking into a sea can on his property last week.

On Thursday, May 10 at approximately 6:00 a.m., a rural property owner discovered two males loading a pickup truck with tools that were removed from a sea can on his property. The two suspects departed on foot and were located a short time later by a neighbour.

Beiseker RCMP were contacted and arrived on scene and took the two suspects into custody without incident.

David Douglas Deslauriers (22) of Drumheller has been charged with Break & Enter and Possession of Break-in Instruments. He was remanded into custody and is due in Drumheller Provincial Court on May 18, 2018.

Tyree Lee Ewing (19) of Drumheller has been charged with Break & Enter, Possession of Break-in Instruments, and Breach of Probation. He was released on bail and is due in Airdrie Provincial Court on May 31, 2018.

Beiseker RCMP are reminding the public to report suspicious persons and vehicles to police. Dial 9-1-1 immediately for crimes in progress.
