Trekcetera Museum ready to open on Friday

The Trekcetera museum team has been hard at work for their grand opening on Friday.

On April 14, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. the movie and television museum will open to the public as a year-round attraction.

Including a room dedicated to the 38 piece collection from AMC original ‘Hell on Wheels’, and a few other additions like a real piece of the iconic Titanic ship, the museum is not just for star trek fans.

They have utilized the space by adding in the new Borg Alcove as well as the Shinzon chair where museum visitors can take photos for a small fee.

Devan Daniels and Michael Mangold started the renowned museum in Vulcan, Alta., but felt there was more potential to move to Drumheller after noticing the large amounts of tourism traffic as well as the ability to expand in the larger facility.
