On August 26th, 2016 at approximately 8:00 p.m. Hanna RCMP with the assistance of Police Dog Services executed a search warrant on residence in Hanna for methamphetamine and cocaine.
The search located some cocaine, crack cocaine, methamphetamine, marihuana, Canadian Currency, and other property that is related to these offences.
Members arrested and charged 33 year old Jean Bogdan NICULESCU and 32 year old Lora Lea HEWKO of Hanna with possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine, possession for the purpose of trafficking methamphetamine, possession of cocaine, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marihuana, and possession of proceeds of crime. Both Jean Bogdan NICULESCU and Lora Lea HEWKO appeared before a Justice of the Peace and were released to attend Provincial Court in Hanna on September 28, 2016.
