Town e-Billing issue resolved

ARCH MAPLEDINO

Drumheller Corporate Services is saying issues with online applications for e-billing have been resolved and is inviting residents to enter into the town’s “Thrill of the e-Bill” contest which was launched late last month.

The “Thrill of the e-Bill” contest encourages residents to sign up for paper-free, electronic billing through the town’s website (dinosaurvalley.com) in order to reduce mailing costs, promote efficiency, and become greener.

The service ran into issues after launching but director of corporate services Barb Miller said in a release those issues have been resolved and the service is now open for those wanting to participate.

“We thank everyone for their patience as we worked through the technical problem. If you are unsure if your application was received feel free to contact us at 403-823-1302,” said Miller.

Residents who sign up for e-billing will be receive $5 off their next utility bill, as well as be entered into a draw to win gift cards and prizes from local businesses.

Two prizes will be drawn every month until the contest ends October 31 this year. The first draw is on Friday, July 29.

Utility account holders already subscribed to email invoicing will automatically be entered into the monthly draws. Winners will be announced on social media and the town’s website.
