The Town of Drumheller is inviting residents to come and celebrate the official opening of the Badlands Community Facility
The Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting for the Badlands Community Facility will be held on Wednesday, July 4.
“Tremendous work has gone into the facility and July 4 is a day to celebrate its completion and thank a lot of people for their generous contributions and commitment", said Mayor Terry Yemen.
Speeches and ribbon cutting commence at 1 p.m. Speakers at the opening ceremony include representatives from the local community, as well as from the federal and provincial governments who have made investments in the project through the Building Canada Fund - Communities Component.
A barbecue will follow and residents are invited to help celebrate and share in this special day.
The Town of Drumheller proudly presents the Badlands Community Facility as a state-of-the-art facility that will serve the region for many years to come. It is a multi-use facility where people of all ages will come to learn, exercise, read, relax, meet, compete and celebrate special events. The facility provides a top-notch venue for conferences, weddings and sport tournaments.
