Those wanting to be a part of the Tough Mudder experience minus the treacherous obstacle course can be a part of the event in other ways.
The Drumheller Festival Society has a few specific areas they are requesting residents’ help with.
Mudder volunteers are needed for manning the huge parking area off the penitentiary road, helping out with on-site security at the event area at the Stampede Grounds, and serving cool beverages from any registered servers that may be able to help over the weekend.
Course construction also requires the hiring of six reliable, able-bodied people to stake out and help with the Tough Mudder course the week before the event. This paid work would be at least a full eight-hour day assisting the Tough Mudder crew with installing the obstacle course.
The Festival Society is also seeking rooms for rent for an overflow of people coming into Drumheller for Tough Mudder.
