Pull up your cowboy boots...rodeo season is here

rodeo.jpg Everyone loves a rodeo and Drumheller and the surrounding areas are pulling up their cowboy boots and dusting off their Stetsons in preparation of the 2005 rodeo season. The season kicked off with the World Professional Chuckwagon Association (WPCA) Tarp Auction that was held live from the Red and White Club, McMahon Stadium with satellite links in Medicine Hat, Lethbridge, Red Deer, Grande Prairie (for Dawson Creek also) as well as Drumheller.

Young and old come on out and enjoy the cowgirls as they barrel race around the track or the other events including; saddlebroncs, bareback riders, bull riding, calf roping, team roping, and steer wrestling. Stop in at one of the food stands and grab a beverage and a bite and take a rest before the next event begins.
