Rosebud to host Ray Zachariassen golf tournament

The 5th annual Ray Zachariassen Golf Tournament goes this August 17 at Akokiniskway golf course and with a brunch, supper and a silent auction. it’s bound to be a fun time.
The tournament is held every year in remembrance of Ray Zachariassen, a man instrumental in bringing the Akokiniskway golf course to Rosebud. The story goes that one day, Ray took his friend Albert Clark out golfing, and Albert liked golf so much he decided to utilize a piece of farm land he had to build a golf course. He succeeded of course, and from that, Akokiniskway was born.
