There was gold rush at the Alberta 55-Plus Games for Drumheller athletes, after three competitors qualified for the Canada Senior Games next summer in Ontario.
A Drumheller area soft-ball player is on her way to the national championship, and if her team is success-ful, she will be playing in the international Junior Softball World Series in Kirkland, Washington.
Bailey Faubion, 14, was a member of the Richardson Roadrunners softball team, based out of Drumheller.
