Starting off February right, the Drumheller Dragons downed the southern division leading Okotoks Oilers at home on Wednesday, 3-2 in a rescheduled match-up.

The win put the team up one position in the standings, as they move one point ahead of the seventh place Canmore Eagles.
Okotoks took the lead late into the first period, but Dragon Dayton Martens tied it up heading into the second with apass from Dylan Schellenberg.
Doug Jones put Okotoks into catch-up with an early second period goal, with the Oilers taking until the 14:07 mark in the second period to tie it up with a powerplay goal.
Forward Doug Jones scored his second goal of the night - tenth of the season - to put the Dragons on top, with only 2:24 left in the third period – assisted by Justin Tateson.
The Dragons look to host the Camrose Kodiaks on Friday at the Memorial Arena. Camrose sits third in the southern standings, with a 28-18-6 record for 62 points, and 15-9-0-3 on the road this season.
