The Drumheller Dragons are very excited to add Stefan Virtanen to the Dragons family.
On June 21 the Drumheller Dragons completed a deal in which the Flin Flon Bombers received Logan Sceviour and Brody Robinson for the rights to Stefan Virtanen a 20 year old defenseman.
General manager and head coach Brian Curran commented, “I am very excited to add a veteran D-man of Stefan’s caliber to our defense core. I felt that we needed to add some strength and leadership to help our transition out of our zone and also to take some of the pressure away from a couple of our Defense that log immense minutes each game. At 6’2” a very good skater and PP player this will help in the building of this year’s team!!”
