In a tradition that dates back to the first season of the Drumheller Dragons, an off ice official is awarded for their commitment. Russ Gill has also been volunteering since the Drumheller Dragons first season, and according to off ice official coordinator Barry Pozzo, he has hardly missed a handful of games in his seven years with the team. Pozzo, left, presented Gill with the Off Ice Official of The year Award before the Dragons took to the ice on Friday, December 18 versus the Spruce Grove Saints.
