The Drumheller Curling Club is having a busy season according to Heather Little.
The club is holding a Ladies Bonspiel January 22 to 24. Approximately 12 to 16 teams register and if you want to join in this event, please call Lorelei at 403-820-0527.
Skins curling is scheduled for February 5 & 6 and is open to the first 12 paid teams. All teams are guaranteed to play 3 games, a Skills competition and a Horse Race event. This event usually fills up quickly from within the club so if anyone would like more information, they can contact Bob at 403-823-7470.
The Junior Bonspiel will be held February 20 and for more information or to register, please call Heather at 403-820-4787.
The High School Zones is being held February 26 and 27. Drumheller Valley Secondary School has two teams entered.
On March 11-13 the Southern Alberta Curling Association Bantam Playdown’s are scheduled.
The Mixed Bonspiel is happening April 1-3. For more information or to register, please call Don at 403-821-0722.
They also have 3 Fun Nights left open to the public January 15, February 19, and March 18. There is a drop-in fee, but no need to pre-register. All ages are welcome, although kids must be accompanied and supervised on the ice by an adult. Limited equipment is available for anyone without brooms or sliders.
Spectators are welcome for all events.
